Cheap USB Midi Cable Not Being Detected Or Cannot Find Drivers

To solve this do this:

Control Panel -> System -> Device manager -> Right click on the usb midi cable -> update driver software -> Browse computer for the driver -> Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer ->

Then you might have this:

Though you might need to select an option where it will show all the available drivers which is usually at the top of the list.

Install that driver and it should work.

I’m running it on Win 7 SP1 64bit
